Greenling
The Greenling is a type of wood grouse mainly found in and around the Dragon's Ridge, the Dark Forest and the Wolf Hills. It is, creatively, named after the green colour of its feathers.

Biological Cycle
During the winter the feathers of the Greenling become more brown in order to be less obvious against the snow, the leafless trees and the ground.
Behaviour
It is a bird species that normally lives on the ground but can fly short distances to avoid predators or cross obstacles. Their colour and size allows them to easily hide within grass or small bushes, which they commonly do to be able to feed and roost safely. Greenlings are active during the day and usually sleep in trees for protection.

Uses, Products & Exploitation
The Greenling is hunted by the Serbaith mainly for the green feathers, which are used as fletching for the hunter's arrows, but also for their delicious meat, which is more lean and tender then most other game.
