The Justice Bringer

Purpose / Function

The bureaucracy in Entrelai is a complicated web of laws and rules, designed on its majority to keep their population safe and content. To keep track of all of them and ensure justice is served swiftly and on time, a huge number of bureaucrats work in this building. They interpret and apply the different legislation and rules passed by both The Crystal leader and all of royals members before her. When the application of a rule is unclear. the judge applying it, normally question a higher functionary, regarding its interpretation. The last resources is always The Crystal leader. They are always extremely busy, so only the most irresolute or important of cases go that far.

Architecture

This is a web of buildings. Each of them has at least an expansion to its name. Each of the building, are more impressive than the one before, as the resources of Entrelai expanded.

History

After winning the war with the The redwood alliance, the king ordered space for the dissident to be brought to him, processed, sentenced (and sold). This space was procured close to the palace.
After all the dissidents were processed, the king found that it liked, having a place, outside of his personal throne, where justice could be served. So he decided any breaking of the laws would be also judged in the new building, from that moment on.
With time, the population expanded, so the king could not oversee, without abandoning all his other duties, so the bureaucracy involved, in serving justice to the citizen and non-citizens of Entrelai expanded, it make sense for the same building to encompass them as well. When sometime after that, some smaller justice locales were placed in other areas of the city. it also makes sense to make this building, the one that would manage them.
