Demispaces

Demispaces were an invention born out of necessity during the Age of the Varn. They combine the stability of demiplanes, with the ease of use of extradimensional spaces.
Many of the ancient Erdosians’ inventions used extradimensional spaces that needed to enter other extradimensional spaces without blowing up. A solution would be to use demiplanes but a) these were far more difficult to create and manipulate, and b) demiplanes were another plane of existence, making them out of reach due the Planar Seal. The solution was the invention of demispaces.
The Terminal Nexus was a particularly notable demispace, anchored to the Citadel of the Varn, that facilitated teleportation magic during the Age of the Varn.
Today demispaces are mostly used in polymorphic mechana and some bigger-on-the-inside rooms.
