Sasuke Uchiha is an enigma whose blood makes criminals in the underbelly shiver. His power and abilities are one of the only ones on the planet to rival those of Naruto Uzumaki, the Seventh Hokage. His path is a life of isolation and inconspicuous assistance to the Land of Fire. A corrupt past had led Sasuke to commit many errors in his background, but now, he is a shinobi who many look up to and revere for his unwavering dedication. It is said he can sense when Konoha is in times of strife, and will always turn to help.

Personal history
Sasuke was always outdone by the efforts of his brother, Itachi Uchiha, who was recognized as a prodigy. He had a close yet distant relationship with him, and this frustrated him. Upon entering the Ninja Academy, Sasuke had attained the highest scores and grades of his class. During these times, his brother became withdrawn, and this allowed Sasuke to finally gain praise from his father. After Sasuke's family was murdered by Itachi, he brewed feelings of intense hatred and vengeance.
He threw himself into his studies and avoided much social interaction. This caused his classmate, Naruto Uzumaki, to detest his personality and view him as an inscrutable person. Naruto wanted to prove to himself and Sasuke that he can be just as good as, if not better, than Sasuke. Sasuke disliked Naruto equally as much as Naruto to Sasuke, but he could not help but secretly smile at his rival's efforts to surpass him. Sasuke also felt that Naruto was a classmate who could truly understand his pain.
Naruto and Sasuke had a falling out later in the years, and Sasuke ended up defecting from Konoha. He was trained by a powerful rogue known as Orochimaru, who desired utilizing Sasuke's body to acquire power. Orochimaru was a key player in teaching Sasuke his fighting style and jutsu techniques, however, Sasuke ended up betraying Orochimaru for exploiting him. He then assembled a team of rogues to locate Itachi and extract his revenge. Eventually, Sasuke fought his brother and hardly won the battle.
Sasuke then directed his unsatisfied rage towards Konoha, and wished to see its destruction. To do so, he joined the Akatsuki, a group of terrorists, so that they can aid him in his malevolent endeavor. The next step in Sasuke's plan was to assist the Akatsuki in obtaining Tailed Beasts, so he traveled to Kumogakure to fight Killer B. Sasuke suffered lethal wounds from this battle, but snatched a close victory. Following the battle, Sasuke invaded the Five Kage Summit and killed a Konoha official who was intended to be the next Hokage. At the time, the Akatsuki had declared war against the Five Great Nations.
At the Summit, Sasuke encountered Naruto and his old classmates. He retaliated and attacked his old friend. After the battle, Sasuke ordered the Akatsuki to implant his brother's eyes in him. He then acquired new ocular powers from his brother, and when he left the Akatsuki base, a reincarnated form of his brother soared by him. Sasuke gave chase and threw various questions at him, but Itachi had a task to eliminate the user of the Impure World Reanimation. Sasuke unintentionally joined the battle and assisted Itachi in the fight. When they defeated the user, Itachi's imparting words made Sasuke question his path and morals. He lost sight as to what is a village and a shinobi, and wished to recall its meaning.
Sasuke returned to Konoha during the war to find the answer himself. Once he found the answer based off his experiences and knowledge, he weaved his new dream and swore to protect Konoha, he realized what a village is and what it takes to protect it. When Sasuke entered the Fourth Great Ninja War, he united with his old team to take down the opposing forces of the Akatsuki. The war itself started to reach its climax and Sasuke and Naruto were the two key players in ending the war. Ultimately, his old team of comrades managed to triumph in the conflict.
However, when the battle seemed to be over, Sasuke revealed what his newly woven dream was. He desires to remake the world into a better place by solely making the monumental decisions himself so that others do not need to. To achieve that dream, he must sever his bonds for good and kill his only rival, Naruto. Furious and distressed, Naruto disputes Sasuke's ideals. Both of them fought in the Final Valley, which lasted an entire day, and both of them lost with severe injuries. When both of them could not fight any longer, Naruto and Sasuke reconciled and understood one another. Sasuke now understood what it means to be a shinobi.
