Euvurcrest 1st Battalion Takes Nadlewood strip, Partners with Gnomes

The march of Euvurcrest troops through the Nadlewood Strip in their journey to Caripreet.

In response to the embarrassing slaughter at Jerborg  , Euvurcrest sent a battalion of troops to take Caripreet from those that would seek to stand in the way of Eldurgrund's desires. The Nadlewood Strip would be a necessary path forth, as the villages throughout had militias that could prove problematic if left unchecked.   The battalion was brutal in its expedition, killing most of the able-bodied fighters in each village along the way. Several portions of the forest were burned down in an attempt to hide their actions under the guise of a dazing forest fire. Along the way, the soldiers found a burrow of gnomes that had settled after departing from Silse during Ettermiddag. The gnomes pleaded for the soldiers to leave their region of the woods untouched, and would get their wish granted. In fact, the lieutenant said that if the gnomes assisted them against Caripreet, then the Nadlewood Strip would be turned over to the gnomes, banning any other citizens under Eldurgrund from settling in the forest.
