The Kaban's first fully successful revolution, freeing themselves from the Tara-Jhen and slavery for the first time since their arrival in the marsh, long before Ettermiddag.

In the wake of the Silence, the loss of the Quai rendered the Tara-Jhen and their establishments crippled. Exhaustion consumed the majority of those affected, disruption of Quai supply lines resulted in famine, and the shaking of faith led to social unrest. While the Quai had been lost before, it had never been held for so long, resulting in the overdependence of the entity in contemporary Mot D'nir. Amid the unrest, chaos continued as the Kaban took advantage of their new situation.   Those in Vhan Kath wouldn't fall at the hands of the escaping slaves like some smaller settlements; rather, the slaves would invade the harbor and dozens of boats to the west. When word of their successful escape eventually reached Goldwalk, it inspired more action. Thanks to the city's superior conditions for keeping slaves, they were able to take up arms against their oppressors. The slaves stormed the shops around the city, stealing crossbows and oils. Using a natural tortoise formation, they managed to escape the city through the southern border, fleeing into the dreadful marsh where the Tara-Jhen were unlikely to follow. Those who escaped would face harsh conditions, but they managed to free any Kaban from villages as they traveled (many of which were forced to liberate themselves by the wandering party).   Ongar Stone-Grower, Duke of Augur's End, would take notes from these revolutions, electing to free any slaves within the city, much to Nostula Turases chagrin. While labor output was severely damaged in the wake of the Silence already, Ongar knew that a revolution wouldn't be far behind if the slaves were left to their own devices. By the end of the crisis, 95% of the Kaban population would leave Mot D'nir, setting up villages throughout Kazbur to the west. Before long, the Augury would take action to ensure that they were properly surviving in their new lands. In the years following, they also banned slavery throughout any Mot D'nir territory they acquired in subsequent years, treating it all as territory directly under Saint's Maar.
