Hamish sends Saltkrigere on Territory Expeditions

Expedition

The beginning of the Saltkrigere expeditions to find substantially habitable territory, more incredible fauna (such as the Kaban), and most importantly to find the Strand-Bloods.

After Shellbay had finally been well established, Hamish decided, regardless of Kanel's opinions, that expeditions to find the Strand-Blood family had to begin. Further, he wanted to know if expanding further into the continent would result in similar tribulations to the initial colony's difficulties.   He sent one group north, to follow the coast (which would be mapped as the corkend peninsula). One group was to go South beyond the Marsh, while a third was to go north but were to cut through the rivers instead, seeing what would be on the other side of the continent.   All of these expeditions would prove fruitful, though those that went by the river would have the least to offer, only discovering long regions of endless snow. Every group would go on to set outpost throughout the land as well as small villages while Shellbay itself would grow to impressive proportions, with Korahaman's shell serving as a longhouse for some time.
