After the long rumored construction and abandonment of the artificial island known as Buoy, the Augury and Nim work together to deterine the validity of this structures presence and abandonment.
The legends of Buoy had been around for years in Nim, but they were never given thoughtful consideration. When the tales range from ghost stories to revolutionary pirate kings, who would give them political consideration? Regardless of Nim's ignorance of the island, it would be the Augurs who discovered its presence through visions. It took months to deliberate what the dreamlike implications of a "false island" meant, but it was during a dinner with an exceptional elvish traveler by the name of Ghilel Lovre that the vision was clarified. While having dinner with an exceptional elvish traveler, the rumor emerged in conversation. The Augurs asked for any information regarding the tales but all attempts to discuss concrete information were futile. In the following months, Lovre would serve as an intermediary between Nim and Saint's Maar with hopes of an expedition to this legendary island. The Augury would provide ships for the operation, where the crew would perform as pirates stopping off at Buoy. Lovre never got the opportunity to travel himself, but the reports made the island a large subject for his late painting career. With tied up, floating flats of brass and iron, wooden ships tied along the foundations of the island, and a lighthouse flickering firey signals to the heavens, the island was a beauty to behold. According to those who travelled to the island, it was certainly not under governmental control, unless the Western Elves "possessed ten times the savagery we've been led to believe." Decades after leaving the island would prove that the disasters regarding Buoy were either false or will come into fruition centuries later. While no official travels have been made to learn about its current standing, it is currently denoted as inconsequential to the Augury and Nim.
