The Strand-Blood Cult's settlement of Drulluvatn (modern-day Mot D'nir). They were unaware of the existence of other sentient races in the region, such as the Naga-Tel and Tara-Jhen.

Upon landing on the thin sand beaches of a new continent, Abbot II immediately got to work setting up temporary camps and mapping the coast. She sent one ship to travel up the coast and another to go south. She wanted a grasp of what these lands looked like, how large they were, and any hints about their prophecy. Each ship was told to sail for two weeks before returning.   The ships had been surprisingly tolerable, and records today show that about half of the crew took to sleeping in the ships while the rest would take to sleeping in the camps they set up. The beaches were thin, almost entirely engulfed by the rising tide, but no one wanted to leave the beach, and understandably so. The beaches were familiar, though not the blinding white they were accustomed to. Beyond the beach were dense flora, sour air, and the unending darkness of the marsh. The water was black, cloudy, and stagnant. The whole region reeked of rotten eggs and was enveloped in the sounds of creatures they could not see. For now, they stayed on the beach and ate from the sea. They especially noted that fish were entirely different from those of the Snow Rock Isles. Their skin was leathery, their bones protruded, and as subsequent meals showed, they were usually poisonous.   In time, they figured out what could be eaten, what could not, and how to make adequate shelters, the models of which are still used today. While things seemed at their best, and nothing ever attacked from the depths of the swamps, the northern ship never returned. Following the eventual elimination of the Strand-Blood Cult, Abbot II's journal was saved by the Islands Five and it included various sketches and descriptions of the creatures from this land. Abbot II would go on to name this new land Drulluvatn, though in the modern era "Drulluvatn" refers to the easternmost island of the region, while "Mot D'nir" refers to the greater continent.
