Cult of Verivem
This cult worships Verivem as you may expect. They formally formed during Ettermiddag after The Starfall Rupture that brought the devil into Laminarum. They came to clash with Eldurgrund in particular during their presence but the whispers of their patron crawled far and wide, into the ears of citizens behind the walls of protected settlements. Those that heeded the righteous path would often leave their cities to join the cult of Verivem and their ramshackle towns near the striking point of his comet.
The Cult would grow in power during the age of raiders and darkness, appointing a leader capable of warfare to lead the group against the Snowhammers. The cultists would find success against Snowhammers, claiming more territory for themselves but their newfound success would not be endless.
From 775-778 EG, the Cult of Verivem would be massacred by Epithet and the Eldur Knights. After the brutal encounters, the cult moved Southwest to the foresty coasts where there numbers were in the double digits. Luckily for the cult, Epithet took no pleasure in eliminating such a pititful foe and left them alone.
The cult would eventually break apart and spread to the various reaches of Trinen (and beyond), leaving the cult as a paranoid memory of the past.
