Verivem's arrival in Laminarum.

After a period of war, the Starfall Rupture (sometimes called "Cometfall Rupture," now that the phenomenon is better understood) would destroy the expectations of peace for the next era. Verivem's comet, one of a pair, crashed north of Eldurgrund, destroying a forest and all those that lived there.    A great ashen cloud would cover the skies, reaching as far as modern day Saint's Maar. The great cloud would cool all of Laminarum, and bring a winter that spanned for decades. Food was scarce, communities fell, and faith was sparse. Worse than the cloud, the comet would bring Verivem into the world and he is still present to this day, seeking his righteous path. The disaster that his arrival brought is a large reason he is considered to be Ithitar, even though he does not originate from the same realm as Milin Orphi.   This comet was a catalyst for a disastrous era, destroying much of what the elves, humans, J'barri, and reptilian races had spent so long building. However, it also gave rise to a push against the new dangers and made way for an era of heroes.
