West Bridge

The West Bridge over the Stuik River is the main entrance to the town of Nedev.  The bridge is long and wide and can accommodate the heavy wagons and carts that merchants and farmers bring to and from the town. It has the  strong defense of the West Gatehouse to protect it, as well as a solid stone construction that makes it near indestructible.
The bridge itself is nearly one hundred feet long and forty feet wide.  It's main span allows for boats up to 30 feet tall pass underneath, which is more than enough for most of the vessels that would travel here from down stream. The bridge itself was controversial as it was being constructed as there is a much better place to cross the Stuik further upstream, but Baron Zazar Nocroth insisted that there be a river crossing right where it could be defended by the town.
