Audrock
The town of Audrock in the northern reaches of Katas it the last in a line of defensive fortifications designed to keep the Horse Clans out of Imperial lands. The town sits on a hill over looking a wide valley. The road up to the town walls is protected by several gate houses with guard towers making an assault on the town itself very difficult as three smaller gates must first be breached. The people of Audrock are strong and determined not to let the Horse Clans dictate how to live their lives. Most of the people of the town under go some training and spend a watch on the walls at least once a year as a reminder of their duty.
The town has a decent market, filled with goods shipped in from away. While their is substantial farming in the area, most of the townsfolk are involved in typical trades for a town this size, with a larger than expected portion working in smithing and leather work.
