Tiefling
Perhaps their parents made a pact, or maybe they were arbitrarily chosen to fulfill a contract made some time earlier in their ancestry. Either way, some children of all humanoid races are born as tieflings. They may not have literal devil's blood in their veins, but thanks to their infernal origins, Tieflings are readily mistrusted and even despised.
Tieflings have a wide range of skin hues, encompassing the normal coloration of their parent race and many shades of other colors, usually red. They have set or more of horns that come in various shapes and a thick, prehensile tail. Their eyes are one solid color all the way through, with no visible iris or pupil.
Culturally, tieflings often have to consciously decide whether they accept or reject the ways of those around them as they grow up. Some try to follow their birth culture so perfectly that fault cannot be found in them, while others go the other direction and leave or act out against those who rejected them.
