Mt. Khairas
The tallest mountain in the world, whose summit surpasses an elevation too high for most living things to survive. Despite being in the equatorial Berduera mountain range, Mt. Khairas is permanently capped with snow.
This peak holds much cultural and religious significance. As a "threshold to the heavens," it is associated with life, death, and afterlife, and is also said to be where the first Dwarves were born. The foundational text of The Brazen Order was also revealed here in ancient times.
Geography
The mountain itself has multiple cities carved into it, as well as a few quarries for the mountain's slate, which is thought to make one's Assent even stronger in the eyes of the Brazen divinity. The holy city of Khairas itself has the highest elevation of all these cities, and its only permanent denizens are the heads of various suborders of priests.
The mountain is very steep and is often prone to avalanches. For this reason, the most popular passageway up the mountain runs entirely underground for much of the way, and is still heavily sheltered by a carved overhang into the rock when it breaks the surface.
