Gentle Falls Bathhouse and Spa

Behind a soothing curtain of falling water in the coastal cliff city of Bhunyar, there is a wall of rentable, open-faced bathing rooms belonging to the Gentle Falls Bathhouse and Spa.

It is a popular location for students of Sibar Severstone's Institute of the Arcane, which is located very close by. It is also a favorite retreat for many of the city's aristocracy, who can afford it's more luxurious amenities.

Purpose / Function

This exclusive establishment is dedicated to helping people unwind. In the undercity there are of course the bath houses, as well as facilities for steams, massages, and skin treatments. The overcity area of its property has shaded swimming gardens and ponds of ornamental fish. Part of these swimming gardens extend to the very edge of the waterfall, where the river spreads wide to cast a steady stream of water to allow for the privacy of the guests in the baths on the cliffside below.

Tourism

The Gentle Falls Bathhouse and Spa is one of the most popular---and most expensive---destinations in Bhunyar. While the oldest, public parts of the bath house are free to use, it is nothing compared to the luxury that the paid experiences can offer.

Spa treatments aside, the swimming gardens at the surface are legendary for the diverse array of exotic flora that are carefully curated along its paths. It also has a fancy bar with hard-to-find-drinks.

The resort is also known for being very secure. It has only two entrances and exits, one top-side and one below ground. Although it has many window-less openings obscured only by the waterfall, the cliff is always slick and treacherous to climb.
