    Kingdoms of Legend
    Founding

    The rival Poscaean-cultured clans of Kani and Tel emerged in the 700s BR as the largest Kingdoms to exist on Kronis up until that point. While the leaders of Kani and Tel styled themselves as Kings, their realms remained highly decentralized. The height of these primitive kingdoms reached a climax in 723 BR with all-out-war. The conflict lasted 5 years and resulted in the deaths of 100,000 warriors, or so the legend goes.   The city of Poscas and the Poscaean Empire would later be founded in the same territories of Kani.

    Crop Cross-Breeding introduced
    Discovery, Scientific

    A new method of breeding and mixing plants arose from an unknown corner of the world. By 650 BR, this agricultural discovery had spread all over Kronos.

    Founding of Ataeria; the First Centralized Government
    Founding

    The clan of Akraleia formed the first organized and centralized government, known as the Nisileon of Ataeria. The Ataerians had cemented a domain which collected taxes and provided protection over various cities and villages across several islands. The founder, whose true name was lost to time, is known as the First Nisileus, with all of his successors taking the title: Nisileus.

    Steerian Invasion
    Population Migration / Travel

    A large party of Salkans sails as far as the Island of Tongiu and establish a colony on Seikan soil. For the next 100 years, the Salkans slowly displace the local Seikan tribes and form the Steerian Confederacy.

    Seika United
    Political event

    By 200 BR, the majority of Seikan clans on the Island of Tongiu had united under the banners of Xixin and Jian.  The realm of Jian is remembered by the Mako as Seikan oppresors who reigned over the Makan people for several hundred years until the rise of the Makan Empire.  Xixin was the kingdom home to the infamous King Mue Ne, who would later cause a war to engulf all of Tongiu.

    Reign of the Poscaean Empire
    Political event

    The tribes and clans of Poscaea were united in the world's first ever Empire. Poscaea would continue to expand for several more decades before coming into conflict with the Kingdom of the Seleutines.

    Poscaea displaced by the Seleutine Empire
    Political event

    Ataeria's new alliance with the nearby Seleutine Kingdom proved fruitful when the Poscaean Empire invaded Ataeria's mainland territory. The Seleutine Kingdom wages war for 10 years and finally overcomes the Poscaean Empire by 23 AR - Seleutine itself becoming an empire of its own right.

    The Great Flex
    Gathering / Conference

    In 98 AR, Seikan King Mue Ne of the Xixin Kingdom orchestrated a plot to assert his dominance by inviting Kodran royalty and Makan nobles to a banquet at the heart of his kingdom. As the night drew on and the guests grew drunk and weary, he ordered his guards to mercilessly murder all the unsuspecting guests. This heinous act ignited the flames of the Great Tongiu War, a conflict that would engulf the entire island of Tongiu in its fiery grasp.

    Founding of the Morosian Empire

    The Morosians successfully occupy their subcontinental island over several other rival cultures and found an Empire, run by a senate of Kings.

    The Fracturing of Neo Poscaea
    Disbandment

    Numerous internal pressures within Neo Poscaea, including separatism, corruption, and large-scale civil disobedience resulted in the fracturing of the last bastion of the Poscaean Empire. By 144 AR, each city-state in Neo Poscaea had declared themselves indepdenent.   Prominent among them would be Aomekion, future capital of the Aomekionic Empire.

    Founding

    Lord Migsa Morimori founds the Makan Empire following the conclusion of the Great Tongiu War.

    The First Monotheistic Religion
    Founding

    The religion of Nabuelism is founded when the Prophet Alt is struck by visions and converts his friend and local lord of the city of Zahret. Its followers worship the god Zemour, the Being of Sand and Obsidian and its founding spelled the final downfall of the Podrusan Empire.

    The Morosian Empire clashes several times and finally annexes the Seleutine Empire, closing the second chapter of Human Civilization.

    Morosia's Great Civil War
    Military: War

    Emperor Maximus Manorion died leaving four sons and an unsecure succession.  Each son took control over vast lands of the Morosian Empire to wage war against the other.  While Morosia experienced many civil wars, this first war was their largest and most significant.

    Ailesian Horde Founded
    Founding

    The Ailesian Horde is founded from a patchwork of refugee Kholamic tribes brought together by a man named Cramille and several companions of legend: his mythic mentor, a Salkan chieftess, an Ismian noblewoman, and a man clad in stone.

    While the Ailesians evolved away from their Kholamic origins, they sought to exact revenge upon the Morosians for the persecution of the Kholamic peoples all the same.

    The Great Pax
    Era beginning/end

    A period of great peace, with few wars throughout Kronis lasts while The Great Empire of the West and the Morosian Empire jointly hold more than half of all land across the continents. The Zahretian Caliphate, Thyzantine Empire, and Great Rhal also contribute to this rare period of peace and stability.   During this time, the cultural dominion of the Morosians, Makans, Rhalans, Podrusans, and Lammetrians each met a golden age. Within their domains, the arts flouished, international trade prospered, and the food had never been so delicious.

    The Morosian Empire and Makan Empire (also known as The Great Empire of the West ) both reach their greatest territorial extent within a short time of each other.

    Invasion of the Daahken Dresnids
    Disaster / Destruction

    A tribe of Dresnids, the Daahkens, traverse the Dan Verig Mountains and begin a conquest across Barakon never before seen in this world. Their devastation caused the irreversible decline of the Morosian Empire.

    Collapse of the Morosian Empire
    Disaster / Destruction

    Starting in the 700s AR, the Morosian Empire experienced invasions of its northern and southern borders.  Bost invasions were prolonged and devastating, and exasperated Morosian military strength to the point that most of its provinces declared independence, with the seat of Morosia falling to rebels in 845 AR.

    Collapse of the Makan Empire
    Disaster / Destruction

    The Makan Empire's demise begins with the ascension of the highly incompetent Emperor Takano Aryiatsu in 802 AR. Emperor Takano submitted to the wills of conspiring advisors and made policies that limited the powers of the Emperor, which made for a series of short-reigned and ineffective emperors. The Advisors and courtiers eventually rebelled anyway and began a cavalcade of internal wars. Mako fell into a slow and irreparable decline until rebellious factions siezed the capital of Magasako itself in 890 AR.
