Darcassian Gwailimar Sarhana (Dar-kass-ee-en)
Darcassian is an elf from Mavom and member of a party of Mavom elves traveling alongside Nadir al-Karak.
During the carnival, Darcassian and his friends were enjoying the festivities, Darcassian dancing around Nadir with a woman, when the quake struck. It appears that he was the only member of the group of elves to have fallen.
Personality
Darcassian pretends to be bisexual, but it is heterosexual and in fact in love with Nimeroni.
Most of party does not know Darcassian well, save for Nadir. During their time with him, he has mostly clung to Nadir while struggling against the terrible sounds that only he and Davaa hear. Darcassian is quiet, in part due to his lack of a shared language with many of the survivors.
Chronicles
History
<br>Darcassian grew up in the jungles of Mavom where he is a member of the Forednaur tribe. He was born into the tribe, and only left for the first time on the quest with Geladras. As a youth, Darcassian was known to be a troublemaker, alongside his childhood best friend Ailimar, who later became his Oath Brother.<br><br>When Darcassian was found with the daughter of a tribal priest, he found himself endanger of being kicked out of the tribe. Ailimar approached his friend Geladras, asking him to take him with him on the journey to find Merrilyn, and hopefully put some distance between him and the priest until things could cool down.
The Mushroom Seam
Darcassian and Nadir fell close to one another, and the two of them immediately began searching for their companions. They were relieved to not find them among the bodies. When the mouthless horrors attacked, Darcassian, unarmed, did his best to avoid the creatures, though he was attacked by one of them, and barely escaped with his life. Later, as the party moved through the mushroom forest, Darcassian began to complain of a loud grating sound. Only Davaa , himself a half-elf, and the owl Nura seemed to be able to hear this sound. As they grew closer to the sound, Darcassian found himself growing sicker, to the point where he needed help standing and walking. After Nadir fell during the battle against the horned creatures during the investigation of the sound bothering Darcassian and Davaa, Darcassian stayed by his side throughout the night. When Nadir awoke, Darcassian was joyous, hugging his friend. Nadir had him pull out a card, this time the Dream card, a positive omen. However, when Nadir tried to give Darcassian the gift of the dream, Darcassian revealed that elves intentionally do not dream.
