The Three Circles
Structure
Public Agenda
Each circles agenda widely varies:
1. Gold: The Golden Circle is located in the political heart of Korinthos and thus plays a much more political game. They maintain a seat on the Basileia's council, with the Head of their order discussing the realm's business and serving as Steward/Greed for the realm.
2. Silver: The Silver Circle in Seidon rests on the mercantile hub of the Sanctum and Obsidian Seas. As it commands such an important location, this order is the backbone of the mercantile trade of the realm. It controls the import and export of all goods through Seidon and helps in maintaining The Jade Road as well.
3. Copper: The Copper Circle in Icarus serves a very unique function entirely. While it appears to serve as a trade outpost for those who enter into Korinthos on foot through the Shattered Pass of The Atlas Peaks, the guild leaders here show a particular interest in artifacts from the southern lands both AhinRaj and from the lost lands of Thakuria as well as Cirruan artifacts from The Sundered Veil. Many WayFinders make good money trading their finds with the Copper Circle and it is rumored that many of the recent Lumina advancements have been from these discoveries.

History
Established originally by Klaus Astorius II, the Merchants guild started as a simple caravan along The Jade Road. However, upon discovering a huge cache of Red Lumite, the group was propelled into an important position of power. Over time, the group would grow and then split, three of Klaus's sons Rastus, Nestor, and Damon each taking a different piece of the Guild and forming their own Headquarters. Rastus went to Seidon, Nestor went to Icarus and Damon went to Midas.
With time the organization grew stronger and the three sons reconciled, reforming the ancient mercantile power. The brothers would soon earn a seat on the Council of Korinthos and maintain this seat to this day. The main headquarters would eventually be established in Midas with the head Commissar, Damon Astorius, living there at all times.
