Scene
The Laws of Kobos
Weather and the water table are largely caused and effected by portals to the elemental planes rather than normal laws.
Terrain is determined by the character of the dead/dreaming primordial that was used to create it.
Magic is a fact, though it isn't universal. There are ley lines (caused by the binding spells used to keep the primordials in their state) and nodes. Magic gathers and grows wild in some places, is tainted in others, and in still others it is weakened or absent.
Cosmology
Every religion and scholar is mostly in agreement - the Demiurge led a battle against primordials. He fashioned the world from their bodies, bound them to the planet, and set the wounded angels in the firmament to watch them. The moons are the tombs of his lieutenant and her foe, locked in wary sleep as they orbit.
Principal Geography & Features
The world is mostly ocean, on which the continents float. Beneath the continents are enormous, unbreakable chains that lead down into the crushing darkness below.
The continents themselves are marked by sharply contrasted patchworks of regions reflecting the character of the dead primordials buried there.
