Imprisonment in killing cells

Killing cells are used in several worlds where people is aware of the existence of the abiding, each of them using different methods, and despite our constant attempts to prevent it, most of them are quite careless about it.   In The Prison, the practice has been reduced as much as possible without jeopardizing others' life and well being. To make this possible, there are well defined regulations and there is a rule in discussion, to stop the practice of leaving some prissoners to wake up as punishment.

Execution

Previous procedures

Before any abiding is sent to the Execution Wing, it has to be determined that the criminal in question is dangerous and prone to escape. Usually this is proved by their history or abilities, but there is also a complicated system to evaluate their psychologycal conditions and background. For instance, an abbiding Conqueror is more likely to be sent to a killing cell, since they are taught combat skills from childhood; if the profile of an abbiding shows that he is bright and sly, they are assigned one of those cells too.   The standard procedure when an abbiding criminal is caught, goes as follows:
  1. Examine the nature of their crimes (if these show extreme violence or lacks of an explanation, they are considered for the Execution wing).
  2. Study the history of the criminal. Any previous escapes or a any increment in the danger their represent and the violence in their behaviour or crimes, is reason enough to use a killing cell for their imprisonment.
  3. Check if they have the combination of skills that would give them a chance to escape other locations.
  4. Consider their background, what are the ethics and usual preparations of their family or civilization.
  5. Psychological analisys.

Traslation of the prisoner.

The usual method is to induce a temporary death or use gesture magic to make them sleep during the travel, as well as Travelling Magic to do the trip as fast as possible.

Imprisonment

If the criminal is also a magic wielder, they are located in the area where magic mold grows, which stops any magical induced sleep and it's usually necesary to force them to enter a cell, which usually gets violent and can be both dangerous for the Peacekeepers and traumatic for the prissoner. Usually, that is avoided by inducing a temporary death before they enter that area.   Other than that precaution that is sometimes ignored, there is no protocol for this. The criminal is put into the spikes until their body stops function, and they are registered in the records and their realeasing date (if any) is programmed.

Killing Cells
Usually confined spaces designed to reduce the escape opportunities of people whose enhanced healing abilities would allow them to trick the guards or sort out other containment tools.   The basic principle is to keep them unconscious in a temporary death most of the time, and at the same time preventing them from moving freely.   Several variants (some called with the same name) are designed to restrain them without bothering about them being conscious, which causes an extremely painful, neverending healing process for their victims.

Execution Wing
The Community avoids the use of killing cells as much as possible, but it is required in some terrible cases. To contain powerful abiding with the intention and skills to escape other facilities, there is a section of The Prison destined to them.   The people in charge of this cells, keep them clean and make sure that the prissoners aren't awake so often, to minimize their pain. The risk of escaping is practically unexisting given the position of the spikes going throught their limbs and vital organs. If possible, the prissoner must be sleep using magic or chemicals.   Only for the worst of crimes, they are forced to face a period in which they may wake up as their body tries to recover, but their own involuntary movements cause their deaths again.
