The very air in Korvanthor is thick with the stench of sulfur and brimstone, a constant reminder of the realm's fiery landscape. The sky is obscured by dense, billowing clouds of ash, casting the entire realm in a gloomy, oppressive atmosphere. The jagged mountain ranges that dominate the landscape are made of black obsidian, their peaks occasionally spewing forth molten rock that cascades down their sides in glowing rivers. These rivers of molten rock crisscross the wastelands and canyons, creating a treacherous and inhospitable terrain that only the most resilient and determined beings can traverse.
The ground itself is charred and barren, with no sign of vegetation or life beyond the demonic creatures that roam the land. These creatures are born from the realm itself, spawned from the darkness and imbued with the dark energies that permeate the air. They are savage and relentless, driven by an insatiable thirst for blood and destruction. Only the strongest and most vicious of these demons survive, rising to positions of power and influence within Karnos' twisted hierarchy.
In the heart of Korvanthor lies the Citadel of Blood, a massive fortress that serves as
Karnos' seat of power. The Citadel is constructed from the same black obsidian as the surrounding mountains, with walls that stretch hundreds of feet into the air. The gates to the Citadel are massive, made of iron and inscribed with ancient runes of power. Within the Citadel, Karnos and his most loyal followers plan their next conquests, their twisted schemes fueled by an unending thirst for blood and slaughter.
Ahzmidahl
Ahzmidahl, the demon prince who rules over Korvanthor in Karnos' stead, is a towering and imposing figure, even by the standards of the demonic beings that populate the realm. He stands over 30 feet tall, his body rippling with powerful muscles and his skin dark and leathery. His eyes are glowing orbs of crimson, their fiery gaze capable of striking fear into the hearts of even the bravest mortals. A pair of enormous wings extend from his back, their leathery membranes crackling with energy as he moves. He is capable of launching himself into the air with a single powerful flap, and he can soar across the ashen wastes of Korvanthor with terrifying speed.
Ahzmidahl is the enforcer of Karnos' will within Korvanthor, and he carries out his master's bidding with ruthless efficiency. His favored weapon is a massive battleaxe, the blade of which is said to be forged from the very essence of fire and chaos. In the left hand he wields the mighty Flail Of Ruination. Its head of which is a massive block of solid iron said to still glow with the heat of the forge. His mere presence is enough to inspire terror in those who dare to cross him, and his fury is legendary. Even the demons who serve under him tread lightly, wary of drawing the demon prince's wrath.
Despite his fearsome reputation, there are some who whisper that Ahzmidahl harbors ambitions of his own. Some say that he covets Karnos' power and seeks to supplant him as the ruler of Korvanthor. Regardless of his true motivations, there can be no doubt that Ahzmidahl is a formidable adversary, a demon of unmatched strength and cunning. Those who cross him do so at their peril, for the demon prince is a merciless foe who delights in the pain and suffering of his enemies. His very presence within Korvanthor is a testament to the twisted and malevolent nature of the realm, a place where even the most powerful mortals must tread carefully if they hope to emerge with their souls intact.
