Bashir Kané
Born and raised in Idra, Bashir is oddly quiet and anxious for one whose life has been nothing but comfortable. As the grandson of Ayomide and Anashe Kané, Bashir could have chosen to do nothing with his life, or simply worked in the family business, but instead is pursuing his dream of being an archeologist and historian. He hopes to make discoveries that will do great things for the world, as well as his legacy. Unlike his family, Bashir is mostly human. This reality of a shorter lifespan has definitely played a part in his motivation and desire to succeed.
From a very young age, Bashir has been gifted in mathematics, geometry, chemistry, and alchemy. This later grew into a natural understanding of the complexities of spellcraft and spellcasting. As such, he takes some small amount of pride in his wizard abilities.
Bashir has an academic curiosity and love for Echo Decks, as well as an artistic infatuation with Echo Deck Masters. His favorite kind of music is R&P (Rhythm and Poetry) He's hoping to, upon achieving his full position within Coramar, purchase the materials needed to properly understand echo technology and advance it further, while also using it to aid his partner, an R&P performer named Cyani.
Bashir is not religious in any way, as none of his immediate family is. He has an academic understanding that souls unbound by faith go to The Underworld, which puts them in the hands of the person who, historically, was supposed to handle them. He does not besmirch or insult faith, but he has no true understanding of it, especially the idea of placing faith in beings that do not control possible afterlives.
