Coromar Collective
The Coromar Collective is the term used for all instructors, researchers, and operatives within the Coramar Arcanum. While the academy itself is a well-respected institution, the true respect of the academy comes from the Collective. The Collective are archeologists, historians, advisors, astronomers, philosophers, and even have some small reputation of military operations in times of desperation. They are a collective that, unlike most mage organizations, welcomes all forms of magic user and spellcaster, even those whose arcane gifts are not the focus of their abilities. This inclusiveness, many believe, is the key reason why Coramar Arcanum's archives of knowledge far outnumber other archives. They are also known to have the most secure vaults ever crafted, as no one has ever gained access outside of Collective approval.
The Coramar Collective believe in security and study, in that order. They will secure the world against any potential threat they have the ability to prevent, and only once the threat is passed will they begin to research or study anything about it of interest. It is believed that their vaults contain many artifacts that they deemed to dangerous and locked away without ever taking a second glance.
Despite the potential political and arcane power the Coramar Collective could weild if they kept their research and knowledge secret, sharing it with a select few and using the allure of it to manipulate things in their favor, the Collective believe that once safe, no information should be kept secret or hoarded, and thus they aid the world in new developments and understanding.
