Cherubim

Purpose

The Cherubim were created to guard God's Throne, preventing any angels who were not permitted to directly go before God from doing so. Or, if God is not interested in speaking to any angels who are usually permitted to do so, the Cherubim will prevent them from accessing God.

Basic Information

Anatomy

As angels, the Cherubim are beings of energy and have no true physical form. Because they do not care how they are perceived in the rare events they visit Earth, they do not even take on physical forms for that purpose, unlike most other angels. This is despite them having been said to have a form, which comes from humans attempting to understand how the Fallen have described them for humans to understand their power and authority.

Genetics and Reproduction

As angels, the Cherubim cannot reproduce. They do not even bother to engage in any pleasure-seeking activities with other angels as their sole purpose is to guard access to God.

Dietary Needs and Habits

The Cherubim meet all their energy needs simply by existing purely in Heaven.

Cherubim have the ability to prevent access to God by manipulating space, time, and perception of other angels attempting to access God.

Other angels are intimidated by the ability of the Cheribum to choose whether or not they can access God's Throne because they can return an angel to Earth or another part of Heaven against their will.
