Personal history
Prince Strophantes was born under an auspicious sign while on a ship lost at sea during an incredible storm, which many (the prince chief among them) would claim marks him as destined for greatness. He was also born after it had already been quite clear for some time that Prince Alpheos would grow to become King Alpheos. That has always suited the younger prince just fine, as he prefers great feats of derring-do and even greater feasts in celebration to taking on any sort of responsibility or stability. Since it has become clear the there will be no heir born to the king, he has become an ardent supporter of his younger sister's bid to inherit the throne.
Education
Like all of Onchamos' royalty, Strophantes attended the University of Oros as soon as he was old enough to be eligible. As Prince Alpheos was already well on the path to becoming king, he enrolled at the Antiquarian College and spent nearly as much time taking electives at the College of Swords.
