Red Falcon
Red Falcon is a secret organization that has been preparing for a war between the Kingdom of Laeryll and the Labarean Empire, by stockpiling magical items and secretly training a magical paramilitary force. The group is named after the regular meeting place of the main conspirators of the organization, the Falcon Room in the Temple Tree of Prydisyrr. Several high-profile members of the organization were caught due to their involvement in an assassination attempt that targeted King Olyxx III.
Structure
The organization consists of a few key players who take important positions in business, academia, politics and the military. These key players regularly meet to coordinate their plans, but they act relatively autonomous and make use of followers or mercenaries who are only aware of the goals of Red Falcon to a limited degree, if at all.
Public Agenda
Red Falcon has no public agenda, due to its secretive nature. Its stated goals remain opaque even to some of its higher-ranked members. What is clear to those who know of the organization is that it has been preparing for and has been steering politics towards an intensive magical conflict with the Labarean Empire. Some whisper that Red Falcon ultimately wishes the Kingdom of Laeryll to dominate the Northern Arm, while others speculate that the organization wants to take control of the kingdom itself.
Assets
Red Falcon draws on the support of its more elite members, as well as on Zhai refugees with an eagerness to strike back at the Labarean Empire. This latter group is being housed and trained in a facility just northeast of Prydisyrr.
