The Graceful Bloom
This company owns and operates many of the brothels along Knocking Street in Etude and is one of the fastest growing businesses across Allegri due to the popular nature of their wares.
The public face of The Graceful Bloom is Elise Redding, a noblewoman of high standing and secretly a crimelord who treats her people well and her opposition like cattle to be slaughtered. Many of the compaions employed by the Graceful Bloom are also members of The Crimson Lily and operate as spies, theives, and even assassins that take orders directly from Elise with criminal intent as their first and foremost priority.
Structure
Although Elise Redding is a the head of the organization, each brothel operations fairly independantly and has a house Mistress or Master that is responsible for the more mundane day-to-day functions of their specific bordello. Nearly every brothel shares these common jobs:
Mistress/Master
This is the person in charge of the building and ultimately has final say of what happens inside its walls.Consort/Companion
These are the 'working girls' of the bordello, although most staff include nearly equal numbers of male and female prostitutes with a range of popular physical traits.Security
Each bordello employs a large protective staff as things can quickly become chaotic or even dangerous. Security usually has a leader or captain who directly communicates with the house mistress but handles the safety of the employees without much oversight.Public Agenda
From the outside this company makes money off a popular passtime while giving those working in the industry a safe and profitable way to do so. Their buildings and establishments are all well kept and even many of those who don't approve of prostitution applaud the manner with which the organization manages their business.
Their clear mission statement is to provide the lonely or isolated folk of Allegri the company of another person for a short while. Many believe this to simply be prostitution but recently they've made their presence known among higher society as an escort service, providing not only physical companionship but educated and cultured consorts for more than a tumble after dark. Lately many of the social elite within Etude have been seen at prestigious events with such an escort by their side.
