Etude's Red Light District
Within the Entertainment district of Etude there is a specific neighbourhood that is known for their racy establishments and the sexual nature of the services they provide.
The Entertainment District in Etude is broken up into several smaller areas that are less definted than the usual city ordinance. The most easily identified area is definitely Knocking Street. An entire neighborhood dedicated to carnal pleasures and apetites rarely related to food or nutrition.
Bright red chevron banners hang from street lights at every corner and all buildings where services are offered have similar red chevrons either painted on their doors or they're adorned with signs the markings clearly displayed if they aren't available at all times of day.
Demographics
The vast majority of folk who live and work within the district are involved in sex work in some way or work with those who are. This is closely followed by the people who either manage the brothels or protect those businesses. The population leans heavily into the middle years for humans, mostly between twenty to forty. Those who are not sex-workers are sometimes older, even among bouncers and guards but are still outside the average age range for the area.
Architecture
Buildings throughout the neighborhood are mostly similar to those of the residential areas of Etude. Main floors and foundations are built from stone and upper levels and roofs built of lumber purchased locally from Roland's Weald or some other nearby supplier.
The style is varied within the area. Some single story dwellings sit directly beside large hotel that offers all sorts of accomodations including a bar, private rooms with various rates, and likely a variety of sex workers with their own private rooms for those not staying in the hotel.
