Crimson Conclave
The Crimson Conclave is a public organization that brings relief in times of need, from organizing food drives and rebuilding projects to providing protection from bandits, this very public and very benevolent organization is willing to lend a helping hand to all who request it.
To most of the world, this is as far as it goes, save for a select group of trusted individuals outside of the Conclave herself. However, there is much MUCH more to this near-religious organization. Devotion to the protection of those in need is secondary to their primary, secret goal, which is to protect the world from dangerous, mysterious, and powerful malevolent Lorkin.
Few know about this, primary purpose of the Conclave; but those who do guard this secret carefully and are trusted to never reveal it.
Those wishing to join the Conclave must go through rigorous training and prove their devotion to the needy before being trusted with the incredible secret of the organization.
History
Formed after a Zaros was exposed in Antonne by Span'ce, the "Holy Order of Lucia" quickly became aware of Lorkin and began purging them from Spanch cities. Their methods of exposing them are still a mystery to scholars who are familiar with Lorkin - yet they were incredibly effective.
After the Great Spanch War, this military branch was disbanded. However, several of its knights sought to protect the world from the Lorkin threat. These knights had made inroads and discovered entire cultures of Lorkin, many of whom wanted nothing but peace. So, in secret, the Crimson Conclave was formed - of both Lorkin and Human, working together to keep the world safe from the Lorkin who were too powerful, too sadistic to be allowed to be in positions of power.
