Renemorn
The younger brother of Kenlin, Duke of Caervil and, according to some, the man responsible for his premature death.
After the sudden demise of his brother, Renemorn was positioned to take over as Duke of House Caervil but this was denied him by the return of his late brother's widow, Marellin, Duchess of Caervil and her infant son Orlind.
Refusing to accept her position as regent he was banished to his castle in the north of Caervil and began to take steps to enlist loyal lords of the House who he intended to persuade that a grown man of proven valour would be a better ruler of the House than an infant and a callow widow. Alas for Renemorn that "callow widow" proved more than a match for his intrigues. Sharing his plans with who he thought were loyal conspirators he found himself exposed and arrested.
Tried and convicted of treason in 1011 he was executed in public in Novryk, dying a brutal traitor's death
