The Xotaoleian (Zoh-Tay-ˈOh-Lee-An)

While every county in Troyso has at least one House of Healing, there is no larger or better facility than the Temple known as The Xotaoleian, located in Runswich, in Wimbourne County Dedicated to both Xotaos, The Healer and Sosherai, Goddess of Water, The Xotaoleian is home to the most skilled healers, the most devoted priests, and the most innovative minds. The temple proper contains an altar to Xotaos as well as a side shrine to Sosherai. Here one will find priests, acolytes and other attendants to assist the infirm and elderly. The temple is also filled with those beyond healing, the families of those in treatment, and the dying. The staff minister to them as best they can.   Inside the complex, there are different wards for different sorts of disease and injury. There are shrines and altars to Xotaos throughout the complex. At the end of the main hall, there is a second shrine to Sosherai. The Goddess is revered here particularly because of the healing spring located beneath the complex, The Cerulean Pool. One simply takes the staircase behind this shrine to find hot, healing waters that have given many relief.   The most recent addition to the compound, however, is a Gnomish workshop. There, inventor Zanwor Togglereach has assembled a troupe of Gnomes to assist him in finding better cures for illnesses suffered, and more efficient treatments for wounds and injuries. Members include a cleric, a druid, a wizard, and for some reason, an artificer. Following the success of The Togglereach Celestial Regimen and Cure for treating Infernal Blight, Professor Togglereach and his team are held in high regard, as the staff patiently wait for the next innovation to come forth from his think tank.
