In Attendance, the Twelve Apostles of Bane

General Summary

While spending several days in Tengoku in preparation for their journey to Tochigi Forest, Conradus , Benkei , and Genji discovered that Rei and Pietdidro seemed to be romantically involved with each other. Conradus also struck a loose bargain with Ayaka regarding the acquisition of an enchanted flying shield. Most importantly, after hearing a disembodied voice and finding evidence that someone had been in his home, Genji moved his wife Kayako to an inn while the group and city samurai investigated. They found a tile on the roof of his home inscribed with an arcane teleportation sigil as well as the word "FRIEND". Touching the sigil brought Genji to a large room seemingly made of crystal before he was instantly shunted back to Tengoku. Unable to dispel the glyph, they decided to store it in one of Benkei's demiplanes.
Before they set out on their journey, they attempted to return to Feng-Nao only to find that Liu-Xiao had ordered the Sword Jockey's to keep them from entering the city. They then traveled to Miketsukami to pick up Suzuha for their anticipated battle against Galbatorix . Benkei teleported the group to the outskirts of the Glasscliffs, to the scalding hot springs of Jigokudani. The group hurried through the boiling plains, dodging a confrontation with a steam elemental before diving into the Forest of Four Seasons. While in the summer biome they scryed on Galbatorix and learned that the Apostles have been searching the forest for powerful creatures guarding Tamamo no Mae's seals. Through his interaction with Nultial , they also learned that the leader of the Twelve Apostles madness was growing ever greater. 
Over the course of a month they traveled through the summer, spring, and autumn biomes, clashing with a group of cultists as they did. When they finally reached the winter biome, another scry revealed that Galbatorix had moved to the autumn biome and had just killed the guardian Yokai of that area. The group then made the risky decision to teleport back to that area to confront Galbatorix.
