Mori Ayaka
Cunning Ookami
Seductive, cunning, and at times even cruel, Ayaka is a powerful Ookami(wolf) Yokai who runs a magic emporium in Tengoku called Tsukihanami (moon flower viewing). Her true form is that of a large, black wolf. Although she is an ally, her true motives are murky at best. Like Asuramaru and Mifune, she has made it very clear that she views humans as inferior to Yokai. However, she doesn't think they should be subjugated. She was the last Ayakashi Saiha took on before he died during Heaven's Fall.Death is not the end
Ayaka is extremely skilled in the art of evocation, commanding the elements with but a snap of her fingers. Though she also fell at the hands of the Yonkishi during the attack on Tengoku, her careful planning allowed her to set aside a Clone through which she was reborn.Relationships
History
For reasons unknown, Tsukuhana harbors a deep dislike of Ayaka (though Ayaka has insinuated that it involves a one-sided crush towards her brother Byakuya). The sentiment doesn't seem to be shared, as Ayaka seems to enjoy teasing the former for her boyish, scruffy appearance. However, they are capable of setting their differences aside and working together to deadly effect, as was demonstrated during their joint assault in the Battle of the Grindstones and the Siege of Tengoku.
