Instead of waiting to see whether or not she would become heir to Lockhinge County, she disclaimed her right to heirdom, requesting to immediately become baroness of a smaller stretch of land instead. Her mother granted her control of the Silver Strand, and so Aiza has been baroness since a rather young age.
