Passion Beauty Tragedy

Divine Domains

Life, Tempest   Farahnita's faithful are passionate, intense people with a fierce dedication to their friends, and dramatic disdain for their enemies. Followers of Farahnita's teachings feel emotions so extremely and intensely that they often manifest into literal magical form, be it an unbreakable holy bond or indignant fiery retribution.

Tenets of Faith

Passion, Beauty, Tragedy   The only thing in this existence greater than the mortal soul, is the bond formed between mortals through the trials of life on Jeharr. It is for this reason that believers in the word of Farahnita feel and love so fiercely.

Holidays

The followers of the Goddess of Love keep accurate record of their relationships and often celebrate anniversaries and days that their loved ones consider special. This often includes the holidays not traditionally associated with the Goddess of Love.

Divine Goals & Aspirations

Farahnita was formed from the union between Rein, God of Integrity and Ahnita, Goddess of Compassion. Rein and Ahnita's eternal union is the model for traditional mortal concepts of love and marriage. Farahnita is the physical manifestation of their love for one another. So strong was this bond, that at the moment of her creation, Farahnita brought Ahnita and Rein's home planes of Arksend and Mitus crashing together. Farahnita herself is viewed as the daughter and favored child of Ahnita and Rein, although she is known for her chaotic nature as well.   Farahnita is one of the Ancient Gods and as such was formed during The First Moment. Her creation coincided with that of the first mortals and she quickly became embroiled in the battle to decide the place of the Gods in regards to mortal kind. Farahnita adores mortals for their capacity for passion and devotion. Tempered metal, magical seals, and holy oaths be damned, it is the bond that is formed between mortals in life that is the most unbreakable thing in existence. The love of a romantic partner or a close friend can drive the already incredible mortal creature to otherwise impossible feats. And that truly is the most beautiful thing in all of existence.   Farahnita encourages and relishes in the ups and downs of the relationships between mortals for the greater the feeling of loss or betrayal, the greater the bond that must have first existed before being broken. Be it primal allure or steadily built companionship, Farahnita cherishes the bonds between mortals as much as she laments her own inability to form them. Farahnita is considered to be among the closest of the Gods to mortal kind, but the distance endemic to her very nature will forever remain a tragedy. Farahnita is a God, not so distant as the Primordial Gods, but neither as close as the Modern Gods, who themselves were once mortals. Despite the many adoring mortals, Farahnita has never and will never be able to share the connections that mortals form between one another. Whether it be something simple such as the mortal condition that is their limited lifespans on Jeharr or something more theoretical such as the nature of the mortal soul, Farahnita will never form a bond like those of the mortals. Like a perfect statue, she is beautiful, but she is also hewn of inorganic stone and cold to the touch.   Farahnita has fluctuating relationships given her proclivity toward dramatic falling outs and passionate reunions. Generally Farahnita dislikes conflict that brings mortals to harm, but on the other hand, these are the moments that test, strengthen and break bonds between them. This is the chaotic nature of the Goddess of Love. Farahnita generally has great affection for Ahnita and Rein, but regularly feuds with her divine brother, Vaarmeq, the God of Chance. Farahnita generally opposes Lech, Blair, and Gaulgulis, although it is believed that Farahnita harbors some sympathy for the God of Damnation and their tragedy.
