Lech, God of Depravity

Corruption Suffering Perversion (a.k.a. The Great Consumer)

Divine Domains

Death, Tempest   Those who worship Lech serve the forces of change and perversion in The Trench. What the rest of the mortal world refers to as "The End," Lech's followers see as a new beginning. The followers of Lech fervently pursue the recreation of Jeharr and Internus by The Great Consumer. The worshipers of Lech are often from despondent, dismal backgrounds and pledge themselves to Lech's service in hopes of being remade in better circumstances in the next world.

Tenets of Faith

Change, Perversion, Suffering   These tenets of the worship of Lech are central to the identity of Lech's faithful and their hope for the future.

Holidays

Lech is an unpopular God in most cultures and societies, but his worshipers are known to gather during the occasional and random eclipses of the sun that take place in the skies above Jeharr. Followers of Lech view eclipses as a perversion of the ordinary world order and a sign of upcoming success in the pursuit of the reconstruction of existence and a new beginning.

Divine Goals & Aspirations

Lech resides deep in the darkest recesses of the Sea of Sparks, known as The Trench. The God of Depravity was once a contemporary of Ito, The Old God of Creation, but grew to disagree with the Divine Artist's grand design for the world. Lech's jealousy famously grew into animosity as their competing ideas for their great creation clashed. At the moment of completion of Ito's masterpiece, Jeharr and all of existence as it is known today, the Existential Permutation took place and caused a series of events that doomed Lech's world to be destroyed and its remains perverted and festering in the plane now known as The Trench.   Lech joined Ito's forces against the Gods of Order during the initial conflict among all of the Primordial and Ancient Gods. It is well known that Lech perverted Ito in his weakened and dejected state, following their defeat at the hands of the Gods of Order. Lesser known is Lech's essential role in the victory over Ito. Lech's hatred led him to betray his old rival and contribute to Ito's transformation into Gaulgulis, God of Damnation. Lech's role in the defeat of Ito is often overlooked by his detractors.   Lech and his followers seek to right the ways of the world and recreate it in the image of Lech's original design. At every turn Lech's followers seek to defy the forces of order and Gods that protect Ito's masterpiece. Lech is enemies with most of the other Gods, but has a particularly potent disdain for Rein, God of Integrity, Gianti, Goddess of Nature, Soluna, God of the Afterlife, Baltus, The New God of Creation and Atar, God of Fate.
