Blair's origins are even less well known than the rest of the Primordial Gods. Blair's objective in dealing with the mortals of Jeharr are to use mortals for the power that runs through them. Mortals possess the unique trait in that their life energy is created by a constant flow of power from the Sea of Sparks. Where as all other creatures, native to Internus or otherwise, are seemingly created from a limited well of energy that is dispersed upon expiration, the mortal beings of Jeharr constantly intake and process raw arcane energy from the Sea of Sparks through what is called a Rift, thanks to The Rift Principle.
The secrets of how to manipulate the raw cosmic power of the Sea of Sparks was lost with Ito, the Old of Creation. The fact that mortals innately regularly convert the arcane power of the Sea of Sparks is cause for their unique position in Internus, as well as their unpredictability in the eyes of the Gods. Mortals are also very valuable to Gods for their link to The Existential Permutation and their connection to Ito's knowledge of the craft of the cosmos.
Not all of the Gods seek the willing service of mortals. Some attempt to deceive mortals into an eternal afterlife spent in unwilling service, while others outright entrap or steal the lives of mortal kind. Blair instead seeks to leech directly off of the life force of mortals. Blair's twisted method of gaining power and strength is by causing stress and terror in mortals, for just as a wound causes one to shed its lifeblood, the mind and soul is wounded by anxiety and fear. Blair's followers seek the same method of growth in power and strength, but it is only by Blair's accursed blessing that any share in The Bounty of the Bleeding Soul.
Blair is an exceptionally powerful God and often finds herself at odds and in conflict with many of the other Gods. Blair is most often in conflict with Itar, God of Free Will, Ahnita, Goddess of Compassion, Rein, God of Integrity, Farahnita, Goddess of Love and Xihan, Goddess of Sense, but Blair is opposed by none other quite like Onus, God of Perseverance, and Val'Miis, Goddess of Courage, who exist in diametric opposition to the Goddess of Fear.
