Basic Information

Anatomy

Vie are small slim bipedal/quadrupedal creatures with long limbs and large heads. They spend most of their time upright, but may switch to all fours when running or tired. Their limbs end in paw like hands and feet when young. Their hands grow fingers as they age, while their feet stay paw shaped throughout their life.

Genetics and Reproduction

There are many sexes among Vie, and most have more than one so the majority of people are intersex. As long as a mating pair has at least one different sex from each other they can reproduce. Generations of controlled population has resulted in the need for medication to reproduce. This medication turns their reproductive organs on for a limited time. Both Parents must take the medication. There are two types of medication, one that allows you to become pregnant, and one that allows you to make others pregnant. A couple can plan who will be giving birth to make things easier on them, or both take the medication yo increase their chances of having a child. Each dose lasts half a month.

Growth Rate & Stages

They develop fast at first, then slow down. They have three recognized stages of growth, where in thier body shapes change, sometimes very drastically.

Infant

They stay in this stage until thier eyes open and the begin to walk. It lasts about a jauvonian month. They are rather helpless in this state and need constant care and attention.

Child

They stay in this stage until their hands grow proper fingers. This takes several years.

Adult

Once they have fingers they are adults, but most are still growing, they typically reach around 91.44cm(3ft) in height when they stop growing.

Ecology and Habitats

The optimal environment for Vie are warm tropical jungles with lots of fresh water available. Though they can live comfortably in any warm wet climate. They can survive in colder locations if they have a way to heat themselves and their homes.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Vie eat a diet of fish, water based plants(seeds, flowers, roots, and leaves), insects and insect larva, mollusks, and other invertebrates. Some Vie need to eat more regularly than others. For instance cloud vie eat about every two to three hours when not sleeping, water vie eat about three times a day, and land vie only need to eat once a day.
