The R̂eg̈r̊ü Empire is primarily concerned with the conquest and enslavement of species with which they are biologically and physiologically compatible.  The R̂eg̈r̊ü previously coexisted with a symbiotic species that carried their eggs during incubation; but when that species disappeared (for reasons not known to modern history or science), the R̂eg̈r̊ü turned on their neighbors to fulfill this function, although with generally poor results.
