Execution

Upon the conquest of a civilization, the highest political, cultural, and military leaders are brought before the Phoenix King's court and ritually converted into carriers before an audience of the nobility.  The craving to be bred that carriers feel immediately after conversion symbolizes the 'benevolent' aims of the Empire (to pump everyone who stands still long enough with eggs).
Of course, former leaders are denied the relief of a clutch to sate their new cravings as punishment for obstructing the Phoenix King's will.

Participants

The ceremony is carried out by the Imperial Müj̊ǁàdèm before the Phoenix King and his court.
