The Great hall

As you step through the door, you immediately buckle back at the stench of rotting flesh. The main hal of the temple is littered with the bodies of many men. Nearly a dozen lie in this room. Many are missing limbs and scorch marks obscure faces and other features. The room itself is mainly circular with another part extending to the right. In the center of the room there is a statue of an almost wolflike creature. All over this creatures body there are mouths, eyes, teeth, and horns. It looks down on the entrance with four main eyes. The plaque at its foot reads "The red king, the changing god". The walls of the temple are filled with murals of this same creature. Four pillars surround the statue in the center.

Statue:
The statue is made of sandstone and carved in a way thats so smooth and natural that it seems almost unnerving. The eyes of the statue seem to follow everyone who looks at it.

Murals:
The murals on the wall seem to tell a story in it of themselves. As you look at it, they seem to move, painting the tale of a god revered. They show a beast standing tall as the world collapses in war around him. They show him leaving, reaching beyond for a new world beyond the quarrels of this one. They show a rent torn between worlds, and the coming of creatures. His children. Creatures of a world so alien they seem to be an insult to life itself. He brings them in, and they show him a world of change.  world where anyone can be anything, a world of constant shifting so that even men do not carry the same face twice. He returns, and shows his vision to the warring factions. Alliance and betrayer move as one. Chains of light and dark bind him deep into the depths of the hells themselves. Below these murals, there lies a prayer of sorts, written in deep speech.

Come among the spilling blood
behold the world anew.
Bathe among the beast's gaze
feel the eternity of his pain.
Oh god of blood, oh lord of change
show us again that which you bring.
Oh lord of all, oh changing god,
Answer our call, bring forth the beyond
