Fangs are for amateurs.
Drinking Touch is Blood spell of weak power that allows a mage to drain the blood from a victim through physical contact. As long as it is maintained, blood will burst through vessels and seep through flesh to be absorbed, flowing into the wizard without a trace. Although the name indicates touch, any contact will do, making it particularly fearsome among blood mages with the ability to constrict or entangle their victims.
Drinking Touch requires only a small amount of blood to cast, but consumes a small but constant amount of magic power to remain active.
Effect
Drinking Touch absorbs the blood from a victim through contact, at a rate dictated by the mage's power and skill at Blood magic. The more a wizard envelop their victim, the more blood they can drain, putting large spell-caster at a distinct and unpleasant advantage over their smaller kin. Such exsanguination is not subtle nor painless - blood erupts from broken flesh and veins break to feed the wizard's touch. However, the spell's effect is constant and does not distinguish between friend or foe. Anyone the mage touches are effected, without mercy or consideration. The spell lasts for as long as the wizard choses to maintain it, and some of the blood drained usually goes into keeping it active.
Sometimes, the spell becomes a victim of it's own success, fed with so much blood that even the wizard can't simply will it away.
I love the snobbish vampires looking down on fang-feeding XD
