Volkur is a wild and free nation founded by adventurers on the eastern coast of Iskaldhal, sheltered by and including a severe mountain range that was once known as naught but a pit of demonspawn. Volkur is known as a hub for powerful items and capricious adventurers; indeed, its reputation draws many current and former adventurers to settle down in its lands as recognised heroes.
Though a smaller nation than many around it, Volkur's overall power is considered far greater than nations like Yksinka and Myrkalla.
Adventurers that contribute greatly to the nation may be awarded a key to the nation, and are entitled as Key-Bearers of Volkur. Helgi Fjotlisson currently carries this honour.
