Osori

Osori is a small war-ravaged nation in southern Takawaoku. As the closest neighbour to the Starsear, it is a nation regularly plagued with suffering. It maintains strong walls to try and fend off attacks from neighbouring Shiar and Keselam, who have already taken much of its former land, but has found little success.
Osori is one of the nations worst hit by Gaia's Lament. As it has little verdant land to farm on, and its access to the Sea of Souls is limited by its aggressive neighbours, Osori struggles with food even under normal circumstances. The Lament has seen Osori relying on its few alliances and the pity of its neighbours - motivated largely by a desire to not border the Starsear themselves - to survive. The strongest of these alliances is with Fyore, a nation even further to the south that feels the Starsear's pollution as well.
