Castrum Taenarius

Castrum Taenarius is the subterranean base of the Amethystine Regiment. It is explicitly isolated from the rest of the empire, to such an extent that it is located beneath remote Mount Arduum in the icy northwestern reaches.
It is said to be a sprawling underground complex that stays relatively comfortable for its inhabitants despite their outside conditions, and if the few Regiment members to have achieved greater freedom are to be believed, it is a surprisingly decent home - if a strict one - for the majority of members. Despite this, it has an extensive training facility and dungeon for military actions.
