As the first and only male descendant of Uldal I, Uldal II was prepared from birth to take over the duties of the king.
He married Droga KillBreggan at the age of 15 and fathered 3 children with her.
Uldal II continued the expansion to the north-east that had already begun under his father. Thus the counties Dunn, Wedunn, Nol and Dorn were created under him.
However, it was this expansion that cost him his life when he and his eldest son died on the battlefield in Dunn in 314.
