Current King of the Oplar Kingdom, and the first half-breed king in all of Irrelion.

General Physical Condition
Lean and well built, he looks much like his father, and has inherited his strength and body. For a half-elf, he would normally be old, but his mother passing during birth gave him a much longer lifespan; this is an unknown phenomenon that happens rarely, occurring when a half-elves mother passes during birth, he should live to nearly 400.

Personal history
Born the son of an elf and a human, his birth was highly controversial not only within the kingdom, but across all Irrelion, as a mixed king had not existed before. His father, Stefaan Oplar, was a human, and his mother, Sevalicia Umelynn, was an elf. Sevalicia was a maid at the castle that had taken care of Stefaan since he was a young boy, but when he grew up, he fell in love with her, and, despite knowing the stigma and criticism he would face, married her, and had a son. Sevalicia died during birth, but Rikkert lived.
He was raised lavishly, with all his needs met, as Stefaan knew he would be his only child, and wanted to raise him spoiled, but, unlike almost any other who would be in his position, Rikkert did not fall into gluttony and sloth, and sought out knowledge of the world when he was still very young. With his father's passing in 826, still a young adult, he was forced to take the mantle as king. Public trust in him was incredibly low, but he quickly bolstered it. He further expanded trade between the Oplar and Estrait Kingdoms, and grew relations between the two rapidly. In fact, much of what he has learned as a king came from Matthias Von Estrait, Grandfather of current king, Julius Von Estrait. His reign has been prosperous and long, and he has grown to be well liked by almost all.
