Enkyth Character in Iria | World Anvil

Enkyth

Enkyth Terraweaver / Moonsong (a.k.a. Goddess of the Moon)

Enkyth was one of the few beings brought into Iria to help in the forgotten war. She fought alongside her family and friends until she made the ultimate scarifice, giving up her life in order to finish off the God of Death before he could cause more problems. On pleas from her family and the other gods who they had been helping Gimros and Phydia offered Enkyth two options. She could return to her home in Carcer, or she could stay and become one of the gods of Iria. After giving so much Enkyth felt the need to stay and see the world heal, she said her silent farewells to her family and accepted the divinity offered to her becoming the Goddess of the moon and taking her place beside the other greater gods to help them heal Iria.

Tenets of Faith

Followers of Enkyth are taught to respect all life with honor. No matter the acts a person commits their life should be treated with respect, especially in death.
She advises against unwarrented death but understands neccessity. As long as they are treated with respect in death, she can over look most killings in her name.
She teaches her followers (Wan at least) not to kill during feeding. The last drop of life should never be taken from another just to fill yourself. Only ever take as much as you need to survive, never more.

Social

Family Ties

Her family live in another plane. The only things she has as family in Iria are the Wan and Olissa. While they aren't her blood relatives she seems them just as highly as she does her family.

Speech

Blunt, without thought, and a lot of the time over excited.
