Olörin the Wise (oh-LORE-in)

Overview

Olörin is a man of many talents and is renowed as one of the most powerful wizards on Araska. He is responisble for creating multiple powerful and useful spells. Where he comes from no no quite knows. He showed up some time during the Second Age, helping the dark elves return to the world.

Description

Olörin has quite the aged face, which records state he's had since he arrived on Araska. He has a large sweeping white beard and two large hairy eyebrows. He wears his signature large blue hat and blue cloak. Although he speaks very softly and is very well mannered, he can be quite intimidating if angered. He looks like an old human, but scholars have started to wonder if he might be something else given his extremely long life.

History

The first record of Olörin is in the year 2000 of the Second Age when he found a secret cave that lead to the Underdark. There he found the dark elves and helped them up the surface. It's most likely that he had been around for a long time before that, but that's where he first pops up.
Olörin was present during the Battle of Rainbow's Hill and assisted the humans and eranorians in defeating Luna, the Goddess of Darkness in the year 4500. For his assistance in the war against Luna the humans gave him a tower in Fan'dori for him to live and study in.
He went quitet for multiple years, with no sighting of him until he showed up at Edaranas when the Greataxe clan of the dwarves was trying to retake their ancestral home from the red dragon Ashraad in the year 7000.
In recent years after, he has been seen wandering around Raj'tar. When asked he merely states that he is looking for something or someone...
